    How can I lose all the weight I gained?

    I have gone from a size 8 to a size 14, and I would love any advice on how to lose all these weight, without sacrificing too much.

    Hi. I think the best way to lose weight is by changing your life style. It does not have to be bad, you just need to make healthy choices. I also believe that eating lots of smaller meals per day will boost your metabolism and help you to lose weight. I wrote a hub on it. http://jennshealthstore.hubpages.com/hu … -eat-right
    I even believe that we should not try to cut out all junk food. When we do that, then we are bound to cheat, and not just a little but over do it from deprivation.
    Moderation is key and easy exercise is a great way to help it along.

    I agree with Jenn. Lifestyle change can be done in chunks by building healthy habits one at a time. If you try to do too many changes all at once, you will most likely lose your drive. It takes 14-21 days to build a habit. Start working on one and build on it. Within 6-12 months, you should be down pat with a healthy lifestyle and well on your way to your goal weight.     What made you start eating more?

    You see, what generally happens, is that something happens and we turn to food as a coping mechanism. But then it becomes a habit and we start being addicted to food. (This is assuming you are not on medication with weight gain as a side effect). That is why dieting is so hard and why it doesn't work - because it does not address the root cause of the problem.
