If you were the only one who could live forever would you choose to? You would never age but everyone you loved would.

Oh, God no.  It would be a pretty lonely, boring and meaningless existence.

I think it would be a definate no if you have family. But I wonder if someone  without ties would choose to stay young, healthy  and beautiful forever?

Anna, to be honest, I don't think so.  I would feel a little guilty that I was the only one who did not age and I would feel bad about that.  I'd rather grow old with the people I love.

I would too Joanne as a family soul like yourself.... But do  you think that there are some folk out there who would love the chance to go on forever with no need to ever evolve or fear death? Oh I think there is a story in there......... : )

No, I wouldn't choose to live forever. For one, it would get mighty boring being the same age. But, more importantly, it would be too painful seeing everyone you love die. Part of the human experience is knowing that you are here for a finite time. Aging is part of the life cycle. Dying is part of that, too. Knowing that we are here for a finite time is what makes life worth living.

No----It would be so painful and lonely to live like that. No one is going to live forever. I just wish my life to be useful and significant, rather than too long.
