I started chewing gum earlier this year when I quit smoking cigarettes. I don't really thinks it's bad for you, however I'm farting a lot more now & they really stink bad according to other people.
As with all good things, moderation is the key. Chewing gum, can overtime, hurt your TMJ. This can cause jaw pain, headaches, and teeth pain. The chewier the gum, the more chance there is to develop TMJ.
