    I have never personally lost a child and I would be devastated if any of my boys died before I did.  There is something intrinsically unnatural about it.  I have lost close family and friends so here is what I can impart.

    Be free to grieve, be honest with your feelings (don't always say "I'm fine" when people ask how you're doing), let people take over some chores (cooking, cleaning, laundry), TALK! Speak about the child, your pregnancy experiences and joys, say his or her name, talk about the child.

    I grieve in the shower - cry my heart out and let the water take my tears down the drain.  That is my ME time and allows me to put on a face and be stronger for someone else who needs that comfort.
