I offered to teach my granddaughter how to crochet. I also wrote a hub about my granddaughter who has spina bifida. I always find joy when I try to help someone, especially those close to me.

Thanks for sharing elayne001.  My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was very young. I have always remembered this and I wrote a hub about it too.   I crochet often now and think of her every time.  I will read your hub about spina bifida.

I bought a lunch for a homeless person who was sitting outside of the restaurant where I was dining.  I had the head waiter take it to him because I was speaking to a group of business men so he could enjoy a meal provided by God.

I love these types of selfless good deeds - where nothing is expected in return. Thanks for being so kind.

Just saw this question, but this weekend I donated 14 inches of hair to Children With Hair Loss, a charity that makes wigs for kids going through chemotherapy, or suffering from diseases that result in loss of hair.

ESPeck Wow!  That is wonderful and I know it must make you feel good to know you have helped someone.  My hair will no longer grow more than a couple of inches below my shoulder.  It is layered all over too - probably wouldn't be a good cut of hair.

The only other person I have seen all day is my husband, but I did make French toast for him with fresh strawberries on top  for breakfast, so I think that was kind.
