Pain and sensitivity after THR can there be nerve damage without foot drop?
Had op 7 month ago I am very sensitive around the op site (painful to touch) get pain going down back of leg from bottom and at front of leg. Can feel like knees been hit with hammer, with pain in lower leg. This happens when sit with legs raised.
Basically has anyone else had this? Been told what it was?
Just fed up and get told muscle weakness need physio and to massage the painful site so it will desensitise!!!! How to you massage what hurts?? Sorry appreciate any help.

I heard this statement the other day - "food poisoning is more painful than child birth". I, myself, thought I was going to die for 3 days after some bad seafood, however, I cannot relate to the pain during child birth.Any experiences you can share?
