That is a valid question.  Whether others think it is funny or not.  On the serious side smelly farts are not healthy ones from all the info I have been accumulating.

It means your gut is not functioning and your food is not digesting so you are having regular bowel movements.  Dr. Mercola has dedicated more than one article to this topic.  As has a few others.

Getting your gut balanced is important.  We all pass gas, but not always is it so horrid that you run from the room.  Your food is not digesting and passing from your body, it is purifying.

Pre- & Pro-biotics as well as digestive enzymes will go a long way to help.

    Wish you well.

If you really want to know what it means if your farts stink, then you need to read a little bit of this famous E-book   www.amazon.com/Small-Bang-Theory-TheHol … ang+Theory  It will answer all of your questions.
