What are the steps that parents should take to prepare their children to thrive socioeconomically
& educationally as adults, no matter what the so-called political & economic climate in America?
Most important is that parents lead by good example such as living below their means, striving to earn more money if things are tight and making their money earn money when there is abundance. Teaching the value and importance of money and how to use it to their benefit. Explaining the pros and cons of debt is very important.
Stressing the importance of independence, philanthropy, and entrepreneurial pursuits are all very important as well. Showing their children how education and/or learning an in-demand trade or skill is vital to economic and life success. All of these things, particularly when used in combination, give children the best traits and tools to reach their goals in any economic climate.
