    Hello Pamela!
An important reminder to everyone, regarding losing those extra pounds. Very useful tips and information, provided by you.
Weight management is important, and one should be regular, and do it systematically. It’s quite common to give up the efforts, after few days. Patience and determination is necessary to reach our set goals. Monitoring heart rate, oxygen, diet etc. has become easier, due to the various apps, and of course watches like the Fitbit.
Thank you for sharing this excellent article.

Thank you for your valuable comments Chitrangada, and for posting my article. I keep hearing about people gaining weight with the Covid lockdown, so I thought this might be a useful topic. I fully agree with all your comments.

Pamela, thank you for writing this informative hub. When I was graduating almost ten years ago. I weighed more than 90 kgs. I still remember how tough it was for me to carry myself confidently. I worked out hard, did aerobics, and followed a keto diet. I also stopped eating after 5 p.m. skipped the regular tea/coffee and only took green tea with lemon and mint without any sugar. I was and still am a chocoholic, but while I was trying to lose weight, I only ate chocolates with more than 70% cocoa. At that time, I reduced  about 36 kilograms in 5 months. Now I feel too tired to do such hard work, but your article is incredibly helpful. I would definitely follow your advice to lose some of the extra pounds I've gained in the last few months.
Thanks Chitra Di for sharing Pamela's article.

Many Blessings and Love to you both!! smile

Misbah, I was on a Keto diet and exercised a couple of years ago and got to my goal in about 4 months. There are many diets that probably work, but you have to burn off more calories than you eat. I made candy with the more than 70%, which were called fat bombs. They were so good, but even with them I exercised caution.

I am glad you liked the article, and I appreciate all of your feedback. Love and blessing to both of you.

    Pamela
You've got lots of great information here to help us.

I've been trying to figure out how I've been gaining weight.

I mean, Ron is not here and I'm not cooking much. If I'm lucky I eat only once a day...twice at the most.
But...I do have thst stash of chocolate that I grab a few times a day.
Plus that fast food probably doesn't help.

I'm not one for sticking to diets but I did find an air fryer that I'm learning how to use.

I love those formulas you give us.

I definitely need to get a hold on this before I keep gaining.  I can't afford a whole new wardrobe. ..and some of my jeans no longer fit.

Pamela, this is a very helpful and informative article. I have a Garmen Vivofit 4 and love it.   You download the app and sync the watch at the end of each day to upload all the data…steps completed, calories burned, it congratulates you if you have reached a set goal etc. I just need to be more consistent.
Thank you for sharing this, Chitrangada.
