Tim has written a very interesting article about one of his recurring dreams in response to  Brenda Arledge’s word prompt “Dreams.”

I came back for a peek with editing in mind. Wow! Thanks for sharing Jodah!! Appreciated!!! smile

I hope I did justice to Brenda's prompt - Dreams. With recent events in life, the prompt zoned in on me like an arrow piercing the center of a target. I look forward to reading others' contributions!!

Excellent article on the fascinating theory of dreams and their meaning Tim. Dreams have always been a subject that has puzzled scientists, astrologers, and soothsayers alike, and the fact that they recur again and again adds fuel to the fire. Thanks for sharing your exciting work, Tim.

Thanks, John, for sharing Tim's work.

    Tim
First let me say,  "Welcome to our word prompt series.
We're happy you decided to join us."

Your article "Dreams, Meanings, and One’s Self" catches our attention right from the beginning as you paint us a picture showing the sun becoming the same day ... just in a different place.

Then you tell us a little bit about how dreams occur in Rem sleep, how you keep a note pad beside your bed to jot down your dreams and how easy it is to log onto the internet to decipher our dreams.

I so remember that song by the Steve Miller Band....
It is absolutely great for this piece of work.

Wow!  You've had a recurring dream for 50 yrs or so and have never sought it's meaning before writing this piece of work.
    So intriguing!

I feel anticipation like I'm at a magic show.

Drum roll..the final reveal is now at hand.

I believe you are left a bit perplexed as well as a bit relieved.

Some of the information doesn't seem to fit you particularly...but that's to be expected when using the internet to decode a dream.

But like you say, a new door has opened leading from yesterday to tomorrow while in the presence of now.

One truly never knows what will encourage us to take that leap of faith and trust in a higher realm.

    God works in mysterious ways.

I've heard about this flying dream before and I can only imagine how peaceful it would be except for the frustration of not landing where you would like too.

Then again...I've also heard of out of body experiences where one's body or soul actually travels to places and meets up with others.

    Dreams are indeed amazing.

I like to think they are a special road map giving us clues along life's journey.

    Great write.

I posted a link in the word prompt article.

A very interesting article, Tim.. It's really intriguing that you have been getting the same dream from so many years. It must feel wonderful to soar in the skies like birds and angels going wherever you wanted but also frustrating not being able to land. I often have dreams of falling from heights and always wake up in fear. But I never tried to interpret this dream. I guess I should seek Google University's help in this matter. Thanks for the information. Thanks Jodah for sharing.
