        Thank you Rosina.

There are times I just want to hide beneath the covers and forget everything, but life just doesn't have time for me to do that one.

I'm glad you appreciate all my work.  That really helps & makes me feel like it is worthwhile.

        Thank you.

Brenda, I only just seem to finish one word prompt when you publish the next one..haha..I guess I am just slow responding. Let's see how I go with "respect." I really hope you don't get the predicted "ice-storm" but if you do, that you don't lose your power. I know what a downer that can be, especially for an extended period. Thank you for mentioning my last response, and this was another excellent article. Thank you for starting this post, Chitrangada.

      John
      Thank you.

Unfortunately we are getting the ice.  It's been freezing rain for hours and it doesn't look like it will stop until evening when it transitions to snow.

Alot of roads leading to my little town are already closed due to traffic accidents.

We're warm and toasty right now & hoping for the best.

      John...
It seems a little fast to me too!

It's like I look at the calendar & say to myself...oh no! I'm behind writing the word prompt article again.

And usually I just finished my poems for last week's.

I enjoyed reading your new article with a new prompt, "respect", Brenda. I think that is a very good choice. I enjoyed reading your article  as always. I hope you don't lose power with this storm.

Thank you for posting Brenda's article, Chitrangada.

      Pamela
      Thanks.

I'm hoping we don't lose power too.
It's one thing to lose it due to weather and another due to people out on the roads having wrecks...which seens to be the case this morning.
Alot of roads are closed with standing traffic due to people who tried to get to work.

We're still good right now, but it's freezing rain.

Thank you so much for providing another interesting word prompt, Bredz. I looooove the word 'respect,' and not only this word, but also the act of respecting. Respect has great significance in our lives. My parents have always taught me that you should never sit at a table where respect is not being served.

I personally believe that respect counts more than Love. And Love only exist if there is an element of respect in the relationship, no matter what relationship it is, but 'Respect' is a big big must. smile

I am confident that we will receive a wide range of positive and brilliant responses on this word prompt.

Thanks a lot Chitra Di for sharing the link to Brenda's hub. smile

Blessings and Love to both of you!!

      Thank you Misbah.

As usual...I'm not receiving my notifications for this one yet...so tis the reason for this delay in responding.

Your response is a great one.

Love and respect should go hand in hand...sometimes it doesn't.

It sounds like your parents raised you properly...give them a hug.

      Love
      Bredz

      Thank you Vidya.
I'm glad to hear you like this week's prompt.

It's still bad here.  Freezing rain to sleet the entire day.

      Soon to change to snow.

So far so good.  It could stop anytime And I wouldn't be disappointed.

      Take care.

      Thanks Liz..
I really can't remember having such an ice storm before, but we are okay.

It has closed up our little town though until the temperature raises a bit.

With at least 4 to 5 inches of solid ice...i can't even open my car door...but I did manage to get his truck ready if we have an emergency.

Usually when you step outside in the Winter...your foot sinks in the snowdrift, but not this time.
You walk out your door and just keep walking like it's a new kind of sidewalk.

Brenda, I wish you protection and safety during the storm. Everyone who cares about respect is complaining how much it is lacking these days. I know that we will get some encouraging reads on the topic. Thanks, Chitrangada.

      Thanks Ms.Dora
I appreciate your kindness and I'm doing my best to stay safe.

Respect does seem to be lacking...I guess it's not taught much to the younger generation.

Hopefully I will write something, but my muse hasn't quite decided what to write.
