This is a thoughtful and inspiring response to Brenda's word prompt on Puzzle by Vidya Sagar ....
Brenda is a great writer / poetess and an inspiring human being. We are all sad at the irreparable loss she has suffered because of the passing away of Ron and our hearts reach out to her. You are in our thoughts and prayers, dear Brenda. And in the middle of this grief, you have chosen to be strong and duty-bound to your writing and responses to your word prompts .... Your equanimity is inspiring and commends sincere appreciation from all of us.
Vidyaji has payed tributes to Ron and have written comforting words of consolation and appreciation for Brenda.
She has elaborated very well on the word prompt - Puzzle - in various contexts and situations. Puzzle solving indeed enhances mental and intellectual faculties, improves concentration and boosts confidence with the sense of achievement it arouses.
Both the poems also convey important messages - the first one showing the uncertainties of life puzzling human mind, and faith in the Almighty helping us face challenges these trying situations pose. The second one speaks about the importance of puzzle games for children.
    Thanks for sharing this, Vidyaji.
    Best regards to you.

    Vidya
Thank you so much for your prayers & kind concern at the time of Ron's passing.

I'm sorry I didn't read your words until now but I'm certain everyone's kind thoughts have kept me going.

In your article you tell us how Puzzles Help During a Crisis by providing us emotional comfort.

Like in these times of the pandemic when we are isolated & lonely.

You share with us the fact that you listen to podcasts & videos about keeping our brains healthy when you can't sleep.

Solving puzzles help by keeping the brain active.

    Your favorite is crossword puzzles.
I hope it does help..I've recently started doing puzzles  like woodblocks online, since I can't seem to put a jigsaw puzzle together yet.

You tell us that Life is like a puzzle for we struggle until we get all the pieces to fit together.
Remembering that the Almighty has a bigger plan in store for us helps us to have the confidence to keep going.

Your "Poem-Life is a Puzzle -Response to Brenda Arledge’s Word Prompt Week 50" brought tears to my eyes.
It is so lovely & true.

You tell us how we are often confused during times of despair.
We cannot understand why God hasn't heard our pleas as we feel lost and alone fighting our battles.

Then we realize he has a much bigger plan for our life.

We know our tears won't go to waste as we feel the comfort of his love guide us in the direction he wants us to go.

He will help us put the pieces of life's puzzle together as he  shows us the plan for our life.

Our soul will no longer feel weary.

Then you tell us how solving puzzles benefit us by relieving anxiety & stress.

In your poem about how puzzles benefit children you tell us how they help children develop social skills.
They also help with hand & eye coordination sharpening their memory as they gain intelligence.

    Vidya
This article, along with the poems are quite excellent.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

        Thank you Vidya.
I'm looking forward to getting back to writing and posting again.

I've got alot to do yet, but I'm trying to put in my writing a little bit each day.

Actually I wish I could write and little magic genies would finish everything else...but I know that's not gonna happen.

Then there are those days when my body decides to sleep for 10 hrs...guess I needed extra zzz's, but it surely makes the day seem slower.

        Take care

Thank you Brenda. I understand how you feel. There is no hurry, take your time. Rest is what you need now. Once the other duties are taken care of, your mind will be free and then you can start writing again. Writing will also relieve you of the stress that you had to face all these days. You will always have the love and support of the community here. Take care of your health. Wishing you the best always and praying for you dear friend.

            Thanks Vidya
            I believe you are right.

Once I get everything else done, my mind will be able to get me back on track.
Then watch out...there's probably no stopping me.

Especially when this weather warms up.

    Vidya...
    Our weather has been strange.
We were 79 degrees yesterday but we are having a wintry mix in the morning.
High winds have hit us all night & day.  I hope my trash can hasn't blown clear down the alley...my trash pick up was this morning.
I feel for you in the sultry heat.  Oh my...summer hasn't started yet.
It sounds like you are in for A hot one this year.
