1) Dont buy smokes
2) If you want a smoke have a drag from a friends
3) Your desire for a full smoke will slowly go away
4) Drink a lot of water it helps flush the body from nicotine toxins that cause the desire to smoke.
5) Good luck it worked for me
I am a non-smoker. So this is just my logical theory:
Smoke one cigareete less each day. You will eventualy end up zero!!
Am not sure what is available in your country, but here in the UK with have various options available to us through the National Health Service.
Tablets (although many surgeries don't like prescribing these due to the cost)
Inhalers with nicotine inserts (they look like cigs)
Weekly/fortnightly trips to the doctors surgery/clinic for support and further prescriptions for whichever method you choose.
Hypnotherapy is also another option, though this will only work if you really really want to give up.
I know quite a few people who have successfully given up smoking for more than 2years using these methods. Good luck.
