Whats the most stressful events in a persons life?
For me it would have to be
*buying a property
I can think of a few I have survived...
Your child going into combat.
Releasing a child for adoption.
A cancer diagnosis.
Death of a parent.
Divorce.
I would have said death of a family member but then i thought wouldn't that be more sad than stressful?
havent had that experience so wouldn't know.
Being the oldest child of parents who have divorced i would defo say that divorce makes everyone stressed.
For me is possibility of losing my job as a teacher. District I work for has a HUGE budget shortfall.
..from what i've read...can't remember if it was considered 'stress' though...read an article a while back..
1. death of a child
2. death of a spouse
3. divorce
I read that moving house is in the top three - deaths are something else, not stressful, maybe worse but not stress.
How is your move going
..yikes...that's why i feel the way i do.... :
...i have until March 15th....M-Day!.... and times gonna fly!
I am afraid that time will just melt. If I was you I would pack everything then go on holiday for a few months, it will all be over when you get back
...that sounds like a plan....i feel like doing that believe me...most of my stuff will probably go into storage....packing up my life...but...spring's comin'....i hope! :
so until then...'yikes' comes over me and then i laugh...and then yikes again, etc. etc.
Ha!
Let's see... I had a year where I separated from my hubby in February, got notice in April that my job was sending me to another state 1,500 miles away, became partially paralyzed in May, my daughter was diagnosed with and almost died from type 1 diabetes just days before I was scheduled to have two discs in my neck replaced in August, my divorce became final in September and I made the job move in October. Phew! Now THAT was stressful!
Is that all ! I am at home alone and have to cook for myself - now that is stressful
Just joking. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger they say, lets hope 2011 brings a little calm back into your life.
Phew....that's a lot to deal with....glad you made it!
WOW ok that sounds very stressful, hope all is well now and you can just look back on it all and see how strong you really are.

Here is an idea I've been pondering lately--it may be a symptom of growing older, now that I'm only about a year and a half from turning 70, and therefore knowing that my life is at least half or more over, given the general longevity statistics for this day and age.I would love to see others' take...

Could you donate an organ while you are still alive?Humans can live with one kidney, and can survive even after donating part of their liver or lung. This is a bit different than being an organ donar, where they take your organs after you are dead. Could you donate your organs while living, and...
