I usually go to sleep around 9:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  I am usually up by 5:00 a.m. though.  Sometimes I wake up at 6:00 a.m., depending on the work schedule.

Depends on my mood, what homework I'm trying to avoid doing... generally I try to go to sleep around midnight. Most recently though, it's been about 4 or 5 AM that I go to bed. I can never sleep past nine AM though.

I go around 2 or 3 am, I hardly manage falling asleep, sometimes I also take some anxiolytic to avoid racing thoughts that in case would destroy my attempts. It is a bit bad to cope with delayed sleep phases. In the morning I often wake up tired, maybe the habit of drinking too much coffee is a sign of chronic exhaustion, but It also depend on my mood in a period of a week.

For the past two years I've worked third shift on weekends and then first shift and mid shifts during the week.  Needless to say it wreaked havoc on my sleep cycle.  I usually cannot fall asleep until 4am, and when left to sleep in, sleep until noon or 2pm.  Some days I stay up over 24 hours, some days I sleep 12-16 hours.  No fun.

I go to bed when I need to sleep, and get up when I wake up.

Sometimes, I work through the night. Sometimes I go to bed in the early hours of the morning and get up 2-3 hours later. Sometimes, I go to bed well before midnight and sleep 12-15 hours.

I let my body decide every night what it needs. The only exception is when I have to be somewhere at a specific time in the morning. Fortunately, that is a rare event as I work from home and am my own boss and also live on my own so do not have to fit in with someone else's needs.

For past 8 years I have been working on varying shift jobs. Initially I used to work night-shifts. That changed my sleep pattern entirely, so that it began to take effort to fall asleep early in the night. Now, things have settled down- I usually will work till morning hours 3-4 am and then go to sleep and wake up around 9.30-10 am. This gets me totally refreshed. Else, I need to doze off after lunch, sometime around 2 pm, for an hour or so. For a couple of days now, I am trying to get to bed early and to rise early - but even so I cannot go to bed before 12 midnight.

I'm on a biphasic sleep schedule which has given me an extra 2 hours in my day. I have 4.5 of core sleep, and then a few hours later I take 1.5 hour nap. So I end up going to bed around 10pm and get up at abot 02:30am. At about 04:00am I take my 1.5 hour nap and am up again at 05:30. This gives me plenty of time to write, workout, get my chores done and have some quiet time before my daughter gets up. big_smile

No defined sleep pattern for me.If working or may be writing hubs sleep time can be at 1 or 2a.m.
i know that is not a very healthy habit but that is how it works for me.getting up is at 7a.m.
As they say in India : Early to bed Early to rise
makes a person healthy wealthy and wise.
