How do the holidays become stressful and how do you handle the problems?
Around the holidays, there are so many loose ends that need to be tied. Stress comes from keeping track of all of them. I try to write everything down and organize it in a logical manner (either by date it needs to be done, or grouping them with other tasks that are similar).
for me, it's by wanting to do too many things for too many people. working full time doesn't allow me the time that I would love to have to do all that I want to do, so I rush around like a nut....trying to fit it all in. I like to keep the holiday season in it's own holiday so I usually don't shop early....which sometimes leaves me behind the eight ball. So now I try to pace myself a bit and I realize that it's not the end of the world if something doesn't get done.

My answer during job interviews when ask how I handle stress is proper time management and knowing my priorities. But most of the time, when the work load is too much, it becomes hard to stick to these two rules! My queston is, how do you really handle stress?
