Cooking a feast with steak for enjoyment, cabbage for wealth, and black eyed peas for good luck. Drinking hot tea for calm and peace. After the feast, go outside to shoot off some fireworks or to just sit around the fire pit and watch the neighbor's fireworks while sipping champagne. Can't sip the champagne this year though! I'll have to trade it for hot chocolate.

find what goes wrong with you and try to rectify those errors.  Taking good and achievable resolution only and try to achieve the result in the new year.

I have celebrated many New Years parties both with my family and friends separately and combined. I think it's most important to celebrate with people you care about - it doesn't matter so much whether it's the big party of the year. When I celebrate with my family in Stockholm we usually eat lobster, it's delicious!
