Now if I'd been asked this question fifty years ago there would have been no hesitation: Saturday Nights!   Now, however, in my late seventies, Saturday night is generally just another stay home and watch television night.  Maybe with a glass of red before bedtime.

Now it is definitely Sunday mornings over Saturday nights.  My wife and I do our grocery shopping then drive to a favourite coffee shop to have a light snack and a very leisurely cuppacino or flat white.   Then, it's off to lunch which, officially would be afternoon, for we don't arrive to eat until a little after midday...I think you get my drift.   Sunday is our real day of together time and liesure time.

Oh, and the Sunday morning hangover of old has long passed away.

Thanks Tusitala Tom! I am honored by  your response to the question!
I find your way of spending Sundays so wonderful that I would like to follow it in the same way along with my husband, when I reach that age.
Long live the Togetherness and Love!

Sunday morning for sure. I get to chill and relax after a long weekend. Plus I never get to relax on Saturday as there's too much happening during the day and night. So Sunday is my peaceful day where I do nothing.

Both.. Saturday nights( Have fun and all, knowing you have Sunday to relax) and Sunday morning because you have a day ahead to rest or going for outing

You are right, the best part of Saturday nights is perhaps that you don't have to  put that irritating alarm for getting up in the morning.
      Thanks!
