    What saints do you pray to?

    For those of you out there that pray to saints, who are the ones that you go to in need?  This, in honor of All Saints Day!

    If I should pray to a saint, the it would clearly be:
    Saint Jude, who was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He should not be mistaken for Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus prior to his crucifixion.
    St. Jude is also called: "'The Saint for the Hopeless and the Despaired".
    So if one is in need, then St. Jude is the one to pray to!

      St. Jude is a wonderful Saint, and he really does always answer my prayers in amazing ways.  Thank you so much for your answer.

    You shouldn't pray to any saints. Jesus says the only way to get to God is through Him.  Saints can't save you, and neither can Mary.

      You are right about the fact that they can't directly perform miracles for you, but they intercede for you.  In other words, they have special graces that allow them to petition God  (and Jesus) to provide answers to your prayers.
