   It's the only time of year that my family makes cookies and buys pumpkin rolls, sooo...those.
   
   Specifically, my sister, mom, and grandma all get together and make peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and snickerdoodles. And then my sister makes pralines. Because pralines are awesome.
   
   As for me, I can't cook and I can't bake. If given the simple task of boiling water, I somehow manage to burn it. So I don't cook. Or bake. And everyone lives fuller lives.

      Oh the stories!!!  It's okay--you can still give food gifts.  Repackage in pretty wrappings and you can be ready with a quick gift!  And if you're going to buy goodies to do this with, buy from these wonderful bakers you speak of here!

   i love homemade cookies and cakes, I bake them myself because store bought are expensive, I like cashew nut cookies, sugee cookies and peanut cookies, I also love sponge cake

      YES!  One of the reasons I love baking on my own is that it saves a lot of money!

   My favorite Christmas treat is bread & rice pudding. I think my grandmother had a great recipe for making them but the sad part is that she no longer with us and I lost out on writing down the recipe and now every bread & rice pudding recipe I've tried, it just doesn't taste like my grandmothers.
