I started collecting plates years ago with the Bradford exchange. I had joined the club with a new plate delivered to my door each month. I no longer belong to the club. My plates are mainly from old movies such as the 'Sound of Music' and the 'King and I'. My favorite is the blue unicorn plate.
I like to show off plates for the holidays, especially the Christmas ones. They add a nice touch to the other decorations.

This black cat with the red witch's hat and broom is from the vintage cartoon collection of Halloween images. Often I like to combine the vintage with a modern look.
That is where the eerie cloudy copper sky has come in with the added modern look. I have used many of these sky backgrounds to give this a unique twist.
