No Fast Food For Thought Here...At This Mickey Dee's.

Updated on April 7, 2010

No Fast Food For Thought Here At This Mickey Dee's.

Just well thought out preparations for your consumption.

Are you hungry for some

real food for thought,

something Big and tasty,

Come enjoy some great beefs

Plus a heaping helping

of some bittersweet just desserts

for those who bicker in politics.

If you're looking for

a good place to fish for ideas....

then set your buns down

at one of the best

locations in the nation

for a whole lot of

reader's digestion.

There are menus

that will entice you

full of natural foods

that will heal you...

There are no golden arches here

to mark the spot

just platinum

preparations of thought.

It's a popular rest stop

for all veterans and bikers

who ride the inner tubes to

tranquility and long to

commiserate with

some of their own.

who offer a big hug to all

travelers who are weary

of the woes of the world.

The man who cooks

up the fare here

has tasted life

both in war zones

and in the arms

of a sweet lady

and can fill your palette with

the colors of the real world.

He's a grizzled and

bearded wonder

with the heart of a saint.

Try a happy meal

at Mickey Dee's

savoring his alphabet soup

that will warm your innards

and inspire your outers

to pick up a pen

and give thanks

in many poetic ways.

Billions were served

daily when this owner

of Mickey Dee's

fought in a distant

war torn land...

Try a little Vietnamese as you

read what he was

made to swallow.

Learn how to work off

all of the words you devour

on a Schwinn Schwinn situation

and view all of the beauty he has

captured in a picture menu

of America at large.

I don't usually

recommend rest stops

because everyone

has different tastes

but at Mickey Dee's

there is something

for everyone

guaranteed to tattoo

a smile on your face.

Poems about his mom,.

and celebrities he has cherished

war stories and love stories

for all that our great

country has to offer.

He's a sculptor of metal

and a sculptor of writes,

some will move you

or soothe you

with their endless delights.

View tattoos out the wazoos

that are stunningly displayed

and there's always a spot

at his table of contents

to rehash where he's stayed.

So drop in for a visit

grab a sound bite or two,

there are videos and pictures

that will astonish you.

I take sustenance there often

and leave there fulfilled

so I'm spreading the bounty

on a writer that's skilled.

Just below I will gift you

with the words that he penned

as he welcomes all readers

to come and be friends.

I am really "floored"! I didn't get a feed on this right away! I had a guest. Maybe we were riding yesterday and I put a hub together last night. Got here- checking up on "Wonder Man" here and I get ambushed by all this love. I am really awed. I thank God for the friends I have. The friends I have are so real! I am very staggered and must find a hanky. Thank you Brother MFB. (I'll send a check out tomorrow!)

The title alone caught my attention and forced me to check it out. So glad I did as I love to be surprised and had no idea what this would be about.

Great tribute to someone who really deserves it!

My eyes filled with tears as I read this. Out of my brief time of knowing Micky Dee through the Hubs, he has won my heart. You have captured the essense of his ambitions and uniqueness of his life experiences.

Your writing painted a picture that entreats one to come aside and sit a spell ... to take a rest at Micky Dee's.

I love the picture of MickyDee in deep contemplation. I see this expression throughout his writings.

This was beautifully written MFB and I thank you for such a heart felt and creative tribute to one of my favorite hubbers... Micky Dee
