Red Blue and Black -- Lord De Cross in Colorful Poetry

Updated on September 24, 2012
Source

Red blue and black

that scenario is back

fresh breeze from the start

red lips that cause no harm

red satin baby doll

perfect color the she chose

blue satin sheets around

adorning my pretty Rose

blackest night out there

bringing my blues to an stop

read head that inflames my desire

bluest eyes that dictated the rhythm of the night

perfect images from past encounters

clashing emotions that produce no blunder

perfect red wine to endure our bravest deeds

black olives that get lost in your lips

Light blue piano for a break with some grapes

playing the song that will send us back to bed

Mixing sighs with the keyboard and your unique charm

getting us ready to keep the words coming as one...

The words interlacing our hands and lips

putting the conjugating verb down to rest

not enough time to think about that Champagne

Just making the moves we know so well from the start

Classy moves sending blue moods

to the reddest crater inside the moon

not letting go that sparkling moment

that is a gift of love from every women

Shades of blue and black on that sky

that we see through the window tonight

deepest resemblance of passion with no end

foolishly forcing us to be more than just friends

Hungry for some fries and Caviar

meaning the night was more than just right

just follow my own moves and cadences

this food has all the ingredients with no offenses

Almost two hours of exploring the moon

red planet Mars causing you to swoon

This blue fallen angel from earth

coming to the rescue of you precious Pearl

asteroids, planetoids and black holes

ready to shake our Universe and more

The Sun, so red for the passion streaming from our minds...

coming to burn these feelings that survived Love from time to time...

It made me cry it was so tender and full of love it touched my emotions but I am not very poetic and don't really know how to express what it made me feel properly.

I don't read a lot of poetry and normally don't comment when I do because for some reason poetry and poets intimidate me and I feel out of my depth.

I left school at 15 and there are some areas that my education didn't even touch and poetry is one of them.

The only thing that I can remember is learning by rote William Wordsworth "I WANDERED lonely as a cloud" and that is pretty much the sum total of my brush with poetry.

Strangely enough I can still recall the first verse of that poem 50+ years later.

Normally the few poems I read already have comments and they all seem to be written by people that are so much more knowledgeable than I am. This makes me reluctant to comment because of the fear I suppose that some one might ask me to expand or explain my comments or explain where I got what I felt from what I read.

I already know that I am ignorant of the technical side of poetry but I don't really want to make a fool of myself in front of others.

I did try my hand at poetry once after being inspired by a poet reading his own poetry on YouTube and I wrote three or four hubs (Under a different persona for all the reasons stated above) and although I got some kind comments this comment really stopped me writing any more

"your rhyme scheme seems really complex...could you simplify it for me? what is it exactly? its not like ABAB...that's pretty much all i know! :)"

Well I could not answer that if I wanted to which I didn't I just went back to more comfortable ground and I don't think I have written any more poetry since.

I say poetry but even there I feel vulnerable calling it that in case a poet or one more knowledgeable than me (almost anyone will do)takes me to task for daring to call it that,

I did enjoy your poem I may not have captured what you intended or glimpsed your inspiration but it did touch me and what I said at the beginning of this now very long comment is how it made me feel. :D

    Maggs224,

Our inspiration doens't go by any rules, just the rhym from our hearts. As we go roaming our senses, we capture the words, that fall right into gear. Hard to explain...but muses all around and won't let us go to bed until done...can you imagine? You can write your own poetry if you follow my thread: From Trafalgar Plaza, to Madrid, went through to much indeed...

    Good day/morning/evening, Gypsy Rose,

Was really touched by Maggs224, we came out with these three words and colors...then we started to write, using our views from love that eluded us in the past, and comes around just to tease us, with no remorse...

    Thanks for the kudos!

    Hi!! Miss Olive!

This is nothing but a lucky night, where I sat in front of this computer and wrote about Love, which is a nice inspiration these days, right ladies? Some were complaining that after February 14, life went back to normal?? Women cannot accept this proposal. Life is short and..men, us, ourselves, should be more considerate with the other sex. Thanks Marissa, I stop here, otherwise...I keep on going.

lord de cross: I see great depth in this Hub as it deals with color and perception and how we see things or how things are and are seen.

    Thank you.

    Hi Dave,

Perception is in the eye of the beholder, and can change from person to person. That's why comments vary in colors and moods. You did give a good explanation though. Some see the message in a different way than others. Thanks for stopping by my friend.
