   How do "you" pronounce niche?  Neesh or nitch?
   
   I used to pronounce it nitch until I saw a YouTube video which prompted me to look the word up.

   According to Collins dictionary, it's neesh, but in AM also nitch. Hope it helps!

   I pronounce it as neesh. Never saw anyone making the same pronunciation but from what you say about youtube, i hope they say neesh as well.

   I pronounce it neesh. It is originally a French word and that would also be the French pronunciation.

   The Oxford dictionary says, rhymes with pitch, but I've only ever heard it pronounced neesh.

   I say nitch. I can't help but think people are being pretentious when they say neesh. no offense to the neeshers out there. I love you.

   Huh, I must be an oddball, because I've always pronounced it "nish" (rhymes with "wish").
   
   Of course, according to Lou Costello, when you find a niche, you scratch it, and according to Bud Abbot, a niche is a notch. Catch?

    I've always pronounced it nitch. I've never heard anyone say neesh.
