Are we allowed to write about sex here? Is that topic allowed?
It may get flagged due to being "adult" in nature. I guess it really depends on the context. As long as it is not graphic, contain nudity, or have any lewd photos I'm not aware it breaks any rules, but I don't just to be safe.
I believe you can...but Hubpages.com will disable your ads. I should imagine that if you were writing about some truly crazy stuff...you might get unpublished. Whenever they take out an ad...they supply this link. Hopefully it will help you.
You have to be careful of the sexual topic you chose to write about, the pics you select to include in the topic and as been told to me by a hubpage moderator- make sure the hub is acceptable for a five year old child to view. You can't write about any sexual acts or positions, or use sexually explicit terminology. Follow those guidelines and you should be very successful.
I wrote two sensitive articles here on HubPages. One was about America's Fear of Sex and Nudity, and the other was about Art versus Pornography. Because of the words I used, the ads were automatically disabled. However, this only applied to google ads, not amazon ads, which are placed by me. Generally speaking, if you approach sex from an education/analytical side, then you are probably okay to post it, but just don't expect to make any money off of it. If you're writing erotica fiction, there is a good chance the hub will get removed. The same is true if you use explicit photos.

I'm speaking mainly on your HubPages account, but also any side (or main) blogs. Do you think it hurts or helps your Hubs to have a diverse group of articles or is it better if it's all about one thing?

My friend and fellow hubber found a hub that was very adult with nudity in it. I am just curious, I thought in the TOS that it said nudity was not allowed here at Hubpages.

How do you choose a topic to write about?I'm just getting started and would like to know how the rest of you go about deciding what to write about. I'll admit, I'm dragging my feet and feeling a bit timid, but I think if/when I get something into my head I will have no problem getting it...
