Is it useful for HP to rank writers by numbers?
Is it useful for HP to rank writers by numbers? If yes what are the advantages to readers, writers and HP. Does a higher rank attract more views and would you automatically pay more attention to a higher ranking writier's articles?
I think it is for two reasons. One, it gives the readers (who are also writers in many cases) a numerical way to express their appreciation of a given writer's work. Two, it gives relevance to the examples of writers that one might want to emulate in terms of style and effort. I really do not look upon it as a contest so much as just an indicator of quality and interest. WB
According to me ,HP score gives trust that he/she is great writer and participate in forums ,answers questions but may be I am wrong ..

Since a discussion concerning this subject on another thread was apparently disturbing some folks there--and I do agree it was off topic--I am taking Norah's advice and putting the question here. I didn't really know what topic forum to use but I suppose someone will move it if it is in the...

I recently had a hub un-featured for engagement, as the half-circle indicates. I think this is an unfair practice and should be eliminated entirely. Here's why I feel this way:Our hub traffic is often affected by the time of year, holidays, seasons, and current events to name a few. If left alone,...
