How to let go when an adult daughter wants to leave home
Surely this is what you've been working towards as a parent? To have an independant offspring? Trust that you've done a good job. It does hurt when a loved one moves away, even if it's not far, but the younger generation need to move on. Be proud that they can manage life for themselves. You won't be around forever, they need to fly the nest.
