Would you ever "sell out" ? ......
Would you (for money) write an article which expresses views which are in small or large part not in line with your personal opinions or morals?
Would it make a difference if you were "ghost writing" and your name was nowhere on and could not be traced to the article?
Would the amount of money offered matter in your decision?
No! I do ghost writing and there are topics I refuse to work with.
I suppose it would depend on the topic. If someone wanted to pay me to write an article about what a genius Kim Kardashian is, I would probably do it, even though she makes me ill. On the other hand, if someone offered me a lot of $$ to write an article supporting the American Nazi Party or NAMBLA I'd tell them to get stuffed.
I ghost write often and I cannot do it if it is something that goes completely against what I believe in. I guess I cannot "sell out" when it comes to what I'm willing to write. I think taking on ghost writing for me was enough of a "sell out" lol - but it pays the bills! That being said I look for gigs that deal with my areas of expertise and passion. I may not agree 100% with everything I've written for clients, but at least it's always 90% or more in line usually.
Well, the amount of money would have to be at minimum six figures west of the decimal point for me to write anything in which I would feel uncomfortable signing my name to.

Have you ever been offered a writing assignment because of your Hub Pages writing?I only got an offer once to write an article for a company's website based on my writing on Hub Pages. Just curious as to how many, if any, offers the writers here have had and was it worth your effort.
