What fuels your passion and love for writing?

We are fueled by many things in our daily lives. Inspiration and perspiration make our works done each day. And in our every day life we search for these things to keep us going. What fuels your passion and love for writing?

I find certain personal experiences are so wroth writing about that when I think of the idea I just want to get into it and write everything I can think about it. My love for writing has come from my own experiences or from everyday occurrences.

I'm often spurred by the idea that I'm the only one who can make this particular story happen. We all have ideas for books, movies or television shows, but a lot of those ideas fall by the wayside for whatever reason. When I find one that I truly like, and want others to like as well, I feel obligated to write it, because no one else will. That, and because most of the stories floating around in my head will bother me to no end until I write them down.

Writing is a direction reflection of the person.  I write so that my family, especially my two daughters will know what I really think about various topics, places I have become familiar with, people I have met but, more importantly, events that shaped my life and the reason behind life's decisions.  Everyone has a story to tell...

My love for writing I think is ingrained in my brain, my heart, my soul. There is no career, profession or job I have ever wanted more. I have always wanted to be a writer. When all the other kids were saying they wanted to be teachers or nurses, I said author. On one occasion I told my mom I wanted to be a doctor and that was when I was five or so. I don't think that counted because as soon as I could understand choices, I decided writing would be it.

Writing specific pieces comes from inspiration but the love itself is who I am. It's similar to me being a woman. I am a woman...I am a writer, there is no difference.

I have opinions about life and society, stories out of imaginations, then need a way to take them out and share with others. That's it! We can say 'inspiration', 'perspiration', 'passion', 'ego'..., but all those depend entirely on common life where our common people live in.
