Is it more difficult to edit a hub to increase its score or write a perfect hub on the first go?
I think it is harder to write perfection without editing... I think editing is a key aspect of making a hub presentable and it makes us see our flaws and correct them before they become bad writing habits.
Review it at least 2 times before publishing. It saves you a lot of time and somehow makes the review less tedious since you can do it as a whole and not by capsule.
I think it is would be much more difficult to try and write a 'perfect' hub on the first try, with no editing later. I often edit hubs with low scores, or older hubs, to update content and photos. This almost always results in a slight rise in the hub score. I consider the ability to edit a hub after it is published an extremely important tool.
It's probably not possible to write "the perfect hub the first time"--though we try. Editing later is super important.
Strive for perfection on the first go.
But you will still have to edit later to fix it.

I just wrote a hub, and I have edited it four or five times. Still (and as always), I'm finding errors with each editing. I know I am not alone in finding it difficult to edit my own work. Do you edit your own work, or do you have someone who edits for you? Has there ever been an...

I have no idea how the Hub rating system works. What I do know is I published a hub about 4 hours ago. I came back to it 30 minutes ago, found a sentence that didn't look right, and edited it. 5 minutes later, the hub exited the bowels of the "quality assessment process" with a score 7...

I am screaming with frustration! Most of my hubs have been unfeatured due to lack of traffic. I write about gardening which no one wants to read about in the winter. Spring is coming so I want to get my hubs featured again, but every time I try to edit them, I either get an error...
