Probably not. The premise sucks, and the prose is lacking. This book sounds wholly disappointing.
Yes. The way my eyes flow across the page, it would be kind of hard not to read it. Every time I get close to a twist in a plot line, I find my eyes glancing to the other page in an attempt to catch the name of a character I expect to return. Other than that, however, I don't believe a book has the power to kill me in this manner, so I wouldn't be deterred by that line.
Yes I will keep reading. I already know that I am going to die. We all are. Whether I keep reading or not, I'm still going to die. We are born, we grow up, we get old, we die.
