I just finished "Wild", which was a great read for several reasons to me personally.  Great adventure, characters and angst.  What more could you want?

Also "The Martian" - Wow - what a unique book (soon to be a movie).

You can read about my BOOK on my Hubpages
    From Australia to Germany
Its a true story and light reading, plus it cost less than a cup of coffee:)
I'm on Twitter and recommend heaps of good books
I author I like a lot at the moment is S.L Shelton. His books are about Scott Wolfe, a gifted computer nerd who ends up working for the CIA
    Worth a look
    Cheers from DOWNUNDER

I highly recommend the Hetta Coffey adventures by Jinx Swartz. I've read all six in the series and the seventh one is due out in the fall. I just  sent them to my sister and she said she couldn't put them down at all. Great reading!

Alexis, I have a great book for you and a way you can get the ebook free.  The book is Emerge:  The Awakening.  I just put up a hub with my review.  In the hub I've put instructions for getting the book free.  This is written by a young woman named Melissa A. Craven.  It's a high energy fantasy.  I'll leave it at that.  If you are interested, take a look at the review.

I wrote a novel once, maybe you can write a review for it on your hub.  Review I got so far "girls love it, guys hate it."   smile

Cool, I created a second author website here (because the website the publisher gave me suck) http://thereadingloverblog.blogspot.com.au/

Depending on the genre you like, here are a few suggestions:

A Cold Day in Paradise by Steve Hamilton (mystery), Flight by Sherman Alexie (YA), The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (YA fantasy), Eternity's Reach by Mitch Rowland (fantasy), Godless by Pete Hautman (YA).

Some of these are older books, but I've found they make for good summer reading. smile

Thank you. I will look into them. I like almost all genres. I can get lost in just about any book.

Pillars of The Earth is my number one book I recommend to everyone.  Anything by the author Ken Follett is wonderful though.
