Kurt Vonnegut, Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, James Joyce

Oh, and Gregory Maguire because I'm a sucker for fairytale retellings.

The Looking Glass Wars could be up your alley, it's a darker retelling of Alice in Wonderland.

I believe i finished all of Codex Alera.

Haven't finished Dresden Files, at the time of me reading the series the rest of the books hadn't been released yet. I think there's a show for it though. Don't think anything for Codex Alera is out there.

This is amazing. Is each one of The Dresden Files contain a separate idea or the ideas are related to each other?
The fool moon looks interesting, I want to read them so freaking bad!

The general theme of the books deal with the darker side of magic and fantasy creatures and yes, everything is connected between the books.

It's kind of impossible for me to list one since I read several genres.  Here is my List

Tim LeHaye and Jerry Jenkins both for the Left Behind Series

    C. S. Lewis-Narnia

    J. R. R. Tolkein-Lord of the Rings

Stephen King-I may not like all the books but many are great.  The Stand is by far my favorite

Rick Riordan-I just got into Percy Jackson

    J K Rowling--Harry Potter

Sure I can add more to my list
