The snow so pure, white, new..........
    Evenly distributed,
    Weighing heavily upon the twigs,
    Of the branches,
    On the trees ...........
    Near where i live

               your turn.

      spreading out across the horizon
      beyond my vision.......
      blanketing the ground
      covering the rocks
      living though still......
      the snow that covers
      the place where i live.......

      your turn

      AND STILL... AS I REFLECT..
      I REMEMBER WHEN..............
I LEFT TO PICK UP A PIZZA,
      I CAME BACK WITH COCAINE...
      THE BABIES ATE PEANUT BUTTER
      FOR DINNER THAT NIGHT,....
I LEFT TO BUY SCHOOL CLOTHES...
      I CAME BACK WITH CRACK....
      THE BABIES DIDN'T WEAR
ANYTHING OFF THE RACK THAT YEAR...
      I LEFT TO BUY GROCERIES...
      CAME BACK WITH MORE DOPE...
      MY BABIES ARE OKAY THOUGH...
      THEY'VE ALREADY LOST ALL HOPE...
I LEFT TO PAY THE WATER BILL...
NOT ONLY DID I BUY CRACK...
      I NEVER DID GO BACK...
MY BABIES HAVEN'Y SEEN ME STILL....

    I look through my window,
      See your footprints.
      They cannot be denied,
I would recognise even the very
      sole of your shoe,
      Around my place,
      Did i miss you,
      Whilst i was sleeping?

    I almost feel your presence,
    Afraid once more to peer
    Through the window,
    Lest you should
    Catch a glimpse,
    Antiscipation
    My heart races,

      I recognize you well.
Even if it was not signed I'd know it'd be you.

      Cry no more my dear
Though far away in the distance
I remain to your heart near
sharing close moments of laud existence
into your arms, peace forgot fear

my mind's ears never get blocked
    always listening to you

you the one i can depend,
    You so vunlrable
    I offer you a rose,
    from my hand,
    Once wilted,
but , you made it grow,
    Fed it,
    nurtured it,
    now the rose,
sits beside you and the fire,
    Are you lonely still?

Only that no words will arrive,
    Just at this moment,
    I can wait,

    the thought, so crystal-clear
that you, just you, are where I live
you are what my heart holds dear

    unheard melodies are sweeter

    am happy being with you
    am happier chatting with you

it hurts me to hera you cry
it hurts me more to see you sad

i love it when i kiss you
i love it the more when i hear you ask for more......

    Rushing like the wind.....
of what you promised long ago
    and you never did.
    Release me from this passion
    release me from the glue.
I want to go on with the future
    even without you.

    I don't be like cinderella .

Life is not a fairy tale ,
so I don't expect to have a " happily ever after ending ."
I don't wanna be the girl who has to wait for someone to rescue her .
I want to explore this world , this life and not have to plan my whole life around finding "the one ."
Some people go crazy over love and end up never finding it .
    I'd rather rescue myself .

    poetry, just not for everyone,
Is it even for you, or me.........
The snow, the rain, the fire,
      The non rules,
      The fascination,
      No Cinderella,
      No Prince Charming,
      Rather harsh reality,
      The Ugly sisters once more,
      May win out,
      Will we allow to happen?

a testamount to                        she spoke disease
the power of the rose                tempted by madness

roots kissed earth                    in a moment of weakness
thorn meets flesh                     earned what was deserved
    faltering steps                       mirror, crystal, scrying

    ...and a pause,

    breath
    reading in light and shadow,
the chill creeping near the window,

    but the love
    oh the Love! of strangers

    coming together in unity of
    arts, effort without strain,

    warms me
    with yummy intoxication.

    And feeling welcomed
    by the hub within hubs,

    the unity of all things
    expressed by cooperative arts,

a collage of mind & emotive

    NO MORE A VICTIM.....

THE DISEASE I HAVE IS OFTEN FATAL

IT ROTS THE SOUL, LEAVES YOU WICKEDLY UNSTABLE...

IT ATE THE FAMILY TIES THAT I GREW UP TO KNOW...

    IT HATES YOUR MOTHER,

WILL TEASE YOU TO KILL YOUR BROTHER...

    IT WON'T LET ME SLEEP,

IT MAKES ME CREEP THE NIGHT THROUGH...

    ON A QUEST FOR MORE....

    IT LEAVES YOU SICKEDLY DISABLED...

THE DISEASE I HAVE IS OFTEN FATAL

IT BLINDS YOU AS TO WHO YOU ARE,

    WHO YOU WERE

    OR JUST....

    WHO YOU COULD BE...

IT LETS YOU CHOOSE OVER YOUR CHILDREN,

TO PUSH THEM TO THE SIDE...

IT WILL PULL YOUR BABY RIGHT OUT OF THE CRADDLE...

    YES! IT IS OFTEN FATAL...

IT WILL TAKE YOU DOWN THE DARKEST PATH,

THERE IS NO WHERE TO HIDE...

IT MAKES YOU FEEL AS IF NO ONE IS ON YOUR SIDE...

IT TAKES YOUR FREEDOM IF YOU'RE LUCKY

    YOUR SOUL WITH NO QUALMS.....

IT RIDES YOU LIKE A DRAGON SIEZED!!!

    WITH HATRED & FIRE...

A LUST FOR A LIFE TIME GONE....

    IT WILL SLAM YOU STRONG,

SAP YOUR STRENGTH TIL THERE IS NO WRONG!!!

THE DISEASE I HAVE WAS NOT FATAL...THIS TIME!!

    I DIDN'T WANT TO DIE,

I JUST WANTED TO GET HIGH..

I FOUGHT WITH ALL MY BEING..

I DUG DEEP WITHIN MY SOUL'

I FOUND I WANTED ME MORE THAN THEE...

    THE DISEASE I HAVE,

    HAS FAILED THIS TIME

    FOR I HAVE XOTED...

ONCE AGAIN I AM FREE TO BE ME.....

    NO MORE A VICTIM........
