so long since i wrote on here i could hardly remember how to do this......
Spring is showing itself,
The tiny white flowers,
Pushing their way through the snow....
New life a pleasure to behold.
The surge of life
Through thin stalks rife
Battling the cold
To bring joy untold..
It is a joy to see you here my dear
To lift our hearts,
To new beginnings,
Weeping non the less
For those we have lost.
Re uniting, growing with every passing moment.
lovely to be here and to see you Sofs.
Snow covers the ground,
But still the Spring flowers
fight for their survival
The birds looking for food.
Whilst cosy and warm we
Drink hot chocolate and write..............
come on lets have some more poets joining in, i am running out of things to say
for where in the hands of creation
did breath begin us
breaking silence
becoming the inside
i close my eyes
i am still
with a wisp, i become.
for a moment I am grass
making the decision to be found
the enemy stands in front of me
radiation levels lousy in its dna
evidence that things don't change
but i am not paralyzed by my status
eaten by a cow and moved into the form of a summerfly
i become mobile
and witness the dazzling throneroom of god
conflict and rebellion are no longer validating
i don't know why i come here, drawn to depuration
leading me to drive the fire to another plane
i am numb and comfortable
budgeting my life against time
i am more enclosed in memory than process
for a moment i was grass
Yet, even a worm,
The lowliest thing,
Awaits treasured Spring.
Beneath thawing soil,
It begs to emerge,
It, too, has an urge.
now, maybe that's the one
Spring, the genius muse pushing me through the earth
embosomed in the deeply cut edges of my tradition
connecting with both earth and sky,
creating, and being creating,
breathing, pausing to catch one more breath,
Inhaling the surroundings,
Encouraging, and being allowed the freedom
To connect, and create together,
Though not in the same space,
not in the same mind,
far away, but in many ways so close.
The joy of togetherness,
as we freely express,
On pages unending on the web,
entwining our thoughts,
and emotions within,
these pages that spin,
the world in an instant
with poetry sequent!
a gentle tap, in one part of the world,
Brings a welcoming smile to others,
maybe even millions of miles away,
Inspiration spreading world wide,
Encouraging the artist within,
colourful, visual and even sometimes poetic......
i wonder if Shalina is around.....
Poetry for the soul
my mind not at ease
a heart broken
thoughts scattered
mind battered
emotion arrested
feelings made numb
i am now lonely
ruled by hatred
seeking for vengeance
sad at betrayal
love to me is a lost cause
read my mind
you will see a dark path
seeking for relief
my heart troubled
cos love is an outcast.
Thoughts from
the mind of a boy
piosonED by love!
love holds triggers,
and loss of love even more,
that we could love ourselves.
Despite what life throws at us,
and somehow win through...............
The sparkle of love
holds us spell-bound
its embers fan our ego
at the start of its magic
¤¤¤¤
love is a strange feeling
when in it
you dwell in a faraway land
like aliens,
your thoughts ancient & funny,
it keeps you going each day
¤¤¤¤
it dashes you hope
And bribes you with joy
Each moment glorious
Each day sacred
¤¤¤¤
but when it is sour
your world come crashing
Each day an obstacle
Moments of pain unending
remembering those sweet moments,
with sad faces
¤¤¤¤
what more but sorrows!
Hard lessons that we learn,
standing us in good stead for the future.....
love
cosiness happiness feeling carefree,
does it happen to you, does it happen to me.....
gentle, pure so warm to the touch,
the dictionary leaves out
it hurts so much!!!!!!!!!!
I write you a song of love long gone,
when it came
it was as sweet as honey
¤¤¤¤
it had wings bigger than that of an eagle,
we celebrated
we cheered
victory long won
¤¤¤¤
ancient in union
mystery in ways
the way of love
magical ane euphoric
¤¤¤¤
what i think now
is a stranger in my own mind
thoughts strange
lacking of balance
i ve learnt my lesson of LOVE.
my life is like a riverpool a movin' mighty fast
i'm known to skip a beat or two - won't nothing never last?
if i should fall in love with you please tell me if it's true
cause i can't tell the difference now that I made love to you
my life is like a riverpool a pullin' me along
i'm known to skip a beat or two when the feelin's really strong
if I should fall in love with you don't drown me by the quay
the riverpool has left me dry - the area is grey
sometimes my heart and mind collide - i can not beg to stay
my life is like a riverpool a draggin' me away
I found this poem from long ago.....
Beautiful memories.xxxxxxxx
so happy to create,
to be back
to be reminded of a love
I lost,
are you still out there
You, poets, are truly amazing
Your words make my heart sing
Beautiful flowers in the spring
New leaves, new life, awakening
Thank you so much for sharing
Your awesome talent in expressing
Thoughts and emotions overwhelming
My mind, my soul, heart rejoicing
I am in awe of all of you
Who could just string words as if on cue
Flowers in the spring to love anew
You make me smile, so thank you.
awestruck
wonderment and delight have carried me
to the place where poets rise
and there I found a star man
a person who is loved by everyone
a large round man with a willing smile
a round smile and a face like the moon
he drank honey with his coffee
and red sprinkles
said it was the magic that gives the coffee its greatness
he wore a big ring and drove a cadillac deville
polished perfection
like the shine coming from his eyes
eyes which were true enough
“there are two kinds of people,” he’d said. “the little kind and the big kind.
don’t let the world confiscate your heart,” he told me. “you got to be a magician”
I figured he was telling me to hide my feelings or something
“no,” says he, “you got to leave something everywhere you go and leave nothing. don’t just visit”
“I must have rocks in my head. how can I leave something and nothing?”
“come on – don’t be miss ignorant. be a myth maker, a teller of tales, a messenger”
“fierce leader, what does this mean?” I teased him while he honeyed his coffee
“you are the steps you take
fill your days with gems and whims
talk to the hummingbirds
hear from clowns
life’s measuring is not in our aloneness
it’s in the red sprinkles we leave for others
***
and so I follow the poets in their blissful parade
and I listen to the fairies whispering behind me.
Now i am here again
To unearth my emotions
Tell a tale of my feelings
share my heart and mind
Of the glorious happenings of my life
¤¤¤¤
I slept in peace yester-night
though bugged by emotions unending
about a woman
that once stole my heart
my heart sleeps with her words,
the sonorous sound of her voice
with whispers so divine
touches of shivers
In times of glorious sweaty sweet moments
¤¤¤¤
i remember how you cried
cries of painful pleasures
Each stroke a maiden's delight
¤¤¤¤
let it be dawn
i am home
let the candles blaze
let the music sound
make it slow and soft
is the bed ready?
My body quakes
your touches divine
kisses deep
mouth searching
tongue sweet
moans echo
bodies melt as the heat cloud our vision
Each thrust chains of pleasure sweeter than honey
you shout, head shaking
hips jabbing
with such pace
i am a champion
¤¤¤¤
wow! Those re deep thoughts

what copyright is this - you cannot say
to copyright my love - when it was thine
I send this letter thus, your heart to sway
the hope of which to give you what is mine.
if i could live upon your tattered brow
and bathe my heart within your silken tear
then there would be the portent of my dream
complete resplendant love unbidden there
but suddenly i am no longer bold
remove the words of anger spoken there
what once was full of life now quickly gone
the cause of such defeat i can not bear
so precious to your soul the gift you hid
you close your heart from breaking even now
no flame nor e'en desire holding there
but i, to save your love and this i vow
would live among the misty streets of dreams
if i could live upon your tattered brow
no copyright to send into the void
for I am never gone, not even now.
Please do with it as you dare,
my heart burden released
mountains of emotions
heart broken to pieces
¤¤¤¤
to you poet
eat of my emotions
chew of my feelings
you dwell in my world
so it is free
¤¤¤¤
make merry
rejoice and clap in gratitude
for a new dawn has come
peace to you all

sometimes the rhyme will form the tale
i think of the single tear you shed
my silent rage wells up in me
oh, stately, sightly, beautiful dead.
we rise on moonlight in the end
to suffer life and love no more
but love, it will not die in me
forgive my daring, i implore
How feebly reached my finger, but hesitating so;
One phrase it wished to capture, but words it did not know.
Poised there above the backlit slate, it longed to etch that rhyme,
That poem yet still burnt in heart, but not yet borne to mind.
Time passes as the finger waits, a fidget now and then
Flicks lightly at its poised-there tip, while iPad screen grows dim.
Hath inspiration left my soul? Falls scorn around my head?
'Tis late; the Hubbers I have failed. Off now, I am, to bed.
Oh love, sweet love,
like dewdrops on my brow
fresh and pure
a lingering cure
for sadness and madness
Just a drop of tenderness
blended with oodles of kisses
hugs and endearments
turning tears into happy torrents!
so as the olde worlde dies away
I think of blissful spring
of children laughing at the gate
of robins on the wing
alas, my soul has plundered deep
the darling buds of May
who begged before, at winter's door
who wanted me to stay
still, resting on the greenhouse eave
soul watches life unclutter
as love rests on the fountain's wake
two hearts, like petals, flutter
¤ ¤ ¤ ¤
Bare your mind
speak your thoughts
I sit here
with feelings so dire
¤¤¤¤
in a world of doom
evil ruling with power
disaster bouncing with pride
we are helplessly hopeless
¤¤¤¤
in hopelessness we hope
fighting even when at death's grip
eager to triumph
determined to succeed
¤¤¤¤
I speak my mind
I talk the talk
when i say
life is vanity
¤¤¤¤
play your path
make sure you do it well
Because you ve one life to live,
here, i hang my boot
with love

words beautifully penned
minds robbed together
thoughts scatteredly gathered
of a mystery feeling
the spark of love
¤¤¤¤
at the beginning
like a sparkle
it bubbles forth
with so much peace and guts
time for merry
moments of laughter
¤¤¤¤
at its extinction
all eyes shed tears
hearts bleed
laughter fade to sorrow
disagreement rain supreme
it is our world
each moment destined
either for good or bad
¤¤¤¤
as i sit and write my mind
about my world
eat of it and learn
trust no one
not even yourself.

Oh, stately, sightly, beautiful dead
I fall upon your ancient grave.
Still now, I hear your whispered soul
and see with heart, not eye.
When once you led the hearts of men
what battles did you see?
What came unbidden to your eyes
and caused your soul to flee?
When first you heard the footsteps of my soul
you chanced to love.
I layed a sword across your lips
and so was your undoing.
you are my lipstick boy
who walked through the rain
to place your loving caress
upon the grass of my fertile ground.
Dreams are what you make
of them that mean something
and if they mean nothing
may my meanings touch another
in a place where dreams are found.
Dreams......
Constantly changing.
Love conquers all......
Make up in tact......
I dream of you.....
Though
If you need to go
Please leave, and my dreams,
MY dreams will forever remAin
