Misbah has written an excellent response to Brenda's prompt: 'anxiety'. She has written a poem and also some excellent ways to overcome anxiety.

A great response to Brenda's word prompt Misbah. I could relate to your poem. I loved your earlier articles on Anxiety too, specially the one in which you have a conversation with anxiety. Thanks Pamela for sharing.

    Misbah
I love how you show us the definitions for anxiety and break them down into different types.

This helps us to understand there is more than one type.

Your poem "Anxiety- a Poem" truly touches the feelings of suffering from anxiety.

You totally realize something is wrong, but cannot get out from under its grip.

Others stop being around you because your attitude quickly changes from calm to angry.

Like a tree growing without roots, anxiety keeps moving. It seems like nothing can stop it.

My stress makes it worse.  I wish someone would understand & hold me.

    This quote

"There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will."

Reminds me of a saying we often say at church...
    "Give it to God"

We truly are not in control, so we need to stop trying do hard.

You add some wonder tips to get rid of anxiety like keeping a journal, spending time with loved ones, a good diet, and a healthy mindset.
Start living in the present moment and not in the past or future.
Then you can overcome this powerful emotion.

    Your next piece of work,
"A Letter I Received From My Anxiety & What I Wrote Back" is absolutely terrific.

It clearly shows how anxiety takes control over our body & life.  Then it tells us how to get rid of it.

This is a wonderful piece of work.  I love how Anxiety tells you he is there for you all the time and reminds you of the moment you first met.

Then you talk to your anxiety and bid him farewell.

This one is a must read for everyone.

My words can not justify how you handle ANXIETY's hold over you, but writing a letter to it seems like a terrific way to let it go.

This next article  "Soothing Phrases You Can Use to Help Someone With Anxiety" shows us how to put ourselves in someone else's shoes and have patience while we try to help them deal with anxiety.

You list examples of what to say or ask the person, explaining each sentence in detail.

    These are all good ideas.

    Great write gal.
I will post a link in the word prompt article.
