Please take some to read these beautiful and heart touching poems by Manatita.

    Here's the link: https://hubpages.com/literature/Growth- … cia-Canosa

    Thank you so much!!

    Salam bro,

I hope you are doing well. I really enjoyed reading your very well-written poems.

    These lines are so beautiful:

"The truth of my helplessness.... river of glue to seal my sorrows".

"Still, I rose... only to lie on the effulgent lap, of the Unknowable."

"The sting of thorns..... Everything grows through struggle!"... These lines from your poetry give me hope; there is always sunset and sunrise every day, but the sun also emerges after the solar eclipse, but once in a while it can give us the impression that it has been permanently destroyed. Thank you for sharing your lovely poems with us. It's a wonderful read as always. smile

    Take care and keep smiling.

Sending lots of Blessings to you!!

    Glad to see you Manatita!

I've missed your words of wisdom.

In your first poem you really touch the essence of one's emotions and the journey he goes down while hurting.

    I can definitely relate.

It is through love that we grow.  It changes so...much like our own spirit with each day.

      Yes Brenda.
We see all beings as Soul's and so words are bound to resonate, according to the receptivity of each seeker. A seeker is in quest of inner fulfillment and as such Light will generally appeal. My regards to your partner. More prayers to you

          My condolences, Brenda.

I felt that he was very ill. God's grace you did a wonderful job. He passed on my birthday! He approves of my work then. He is asking you to walk a Path like mines and I know you're trying. That's all we can do.

My sister in Texas went on her birthday. She was 56. Bless you Brenda. Drop me a line.

I do remember your sister passing.
Although we had been preparing, we weren't quite ready.
He went quickly for he was up walking & making his own coffee on the 8th.
On the 9th he took to his bed & passed in the wee hours of the 10th at 4:25 am.
Your Birthday ~ that does comfort me in some strange way.

Take care of yourself & keep spreading your words.

Yes. I was just listening to Seneca, Marcus Auriilous and others talk about this. We're never ready. Big one. I suspect he'll be happier now that he is free from the confines of the gross bodily cage. More Peace to all concerned.

                Thank you...
I'm happy he is no longer suffering,
But I still wish he were physically here.

Yet I rejoice & thank God for helping me move forward.

      Good morning, Linda C.
How are you? Glad you like this poem. In fact, there are a thousand diamonds in my last two hubs: Life's Struggles and Growth.

Are you still writing? what's new? How's the Hatha Yoga and teaching? Much Love to you and best wishes. - Manatita

Manatita, your wonderful inspirational verses have been missed. These poems were a delight, especially the second. I am glad you are back, bro.

      Yes Bro.

Both Growth and Life's struggles are popular also on the live poetry scene. I feel hopeful that humans are beginning to recognise that inner change is necessary.

I'm hearing sad news on the radio even now but overall, the young have a keener understanding of Spirituality and seek change.

Lovely to hear from you! You, me, Alicia, Dora, Bill, Chitrangada and more...we are the grandsires here. Whatever that means in a changing world. Prayer is necessary. Always ask for protection before serious ventures.

All my best to your wife, children and grandchildren. Peace

      Haha.
One is taking you through the darkness and the other is lifting you. One is for those who have experienced the darkness before experiencing the Light; the other is holding your hand and showing you a beacon.

So lovely to hear from you Peggy! I read 'growth this very night. Like 'life's struggles', it is much loved. Regards to your husband and family

A small tribute to you, bro. I hope you enjoy it.

I was weeping alone in a dark room, remembering my sufferings,
I noticed a light coming in through a crack in a broken wall.
The room brightened, and tears washed away the pain.
My Beloved entered the room and made me dance around like a child.
After so many sleepless nights, I finally fell asleep that night.
Felt as if I were lying on my mother's lap,
    Listening to the long-awaited lullabies.

Lovely! Reminds  me of my poem 'Beacon. Written for friends. There are two voices --the one going through the dark and the lantern coming in with the Light. Plato does something similar in the allegory of the cave. But remember, those in the cave must be receptive to the Light, not refuse to untie their fetters.

Either way, my Heart is yours. Whenever you can, intensify your self-giving ... the Heart's longing, salat, Ibadah. Ibadah is to look at and serve everything with the eyes of Love 24/7. The service need not always be external. It is the Heart that Love looks at...purity of intent; sincerity of purpose.

Of course, no one achieves this in a day. Grace or Allah's mercy is necessary, as is acceptance and patience. I thank you for you Love! Peace.
