    Mr. Archer
My thoughts are with you and your family.

There is nothing worse than being in limbo.

My advice is to read and learn  everything you can about your cancer.
Jump on Facebook and find yourself a support group.
    There are plenty.

Decide your options...ask questions of doctors & others who have had similar cancer.

You might even look into medical marijuana.   For cancer, they have a few options to help ease the nausea and a few swaer by it as a cure.

There is a ton of information, but not everything works for each person.

Social security is something you should be doing now & be certain to put the first date on it that you knew about your cancer.

They hold back the first 5 months...so the sooner you apply, the sooner you will get a check.
For cancer...it's approval is pretty quick.

    Goodluck and don't give up.

Thank you for sharing this Brenda. I have been following Mr Archer’s journey and it is heartbreaking.
You give lots of good advice, but from what I read he has already applied for social security and been denied due to his ex employer not being supportive.

Oh...I thought he was denied unemployment due to them not being supportive.

I've been following his story also.
This poor man needs a break.

You are in my prayers, buddy! Give me a call if you want to rant to someone not of your family. I can't do much but I can listen with compassion.

Mike, I've been following your journey and it breaks my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Hopefully, the silver lining will be revealed in this mire of confusion and darkness.

      Hang in there, my friend.

This is heartbreaking.  Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Don't give up on getting social security.  One ruling does not necessarily mean that it is written in stone.  Please know that others care about you and your situation.

Just added "Mr. Archer" in my prayer column. Meanwhile, consider that in a state of peace, if we can make it there, we hear God best. Trust, and listen while you wait.
