Janis Leslie Evans has written us a wonderful piece on the word prompt "Patience."

She shows us how waiting wears us thin.

Take a moment to read * discuss her words.

      Hello Janis!
A beautiful response to the word prompt, Patience. Very well written, with nicely crafted poem.
I agree with you, that the pandemic has tried our patience, like nothing else.
In this fast paced World, patience is an important characteristic, which everyone should have.
      Thank you for sharing this.
And thank you Brenda for sharing this in the forum.

    Janis
You hit the nail on the head in this article.

Our patience has definitely been tested with Covid-19.

I'm not sure about door dash or Alexa because I have neither one.

But the few restaurants we do have offered us carryout during the worst times in the beginning.

    In your poem Chasing Patience"
You show us how waiting wears us thin until our temper explodes.

We forget the lessons of our youth and desire only our own selfish needs.

We need to have a little faith and be patient.
Take a breath, wait & be still.
Things will happen when they will.

Great message in this one & the symbolism in these words is terrific.

It was worth the wait.  Great job.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article
