Wonderful article Bill. Little universes circling  little universes, beautiful imagery. Sonder makes us aware of values like empathy and compassion. We need social connections and Hubpages is a great platform to find true friends. Thanks for this lovely article and thanks Pamela for sharing.

Yes, Bill did a noteworthy article on a topic I'd studied for years in my metaphysical studies. AND he gave it a name, a name I'd never heard:  Sondering. Bill, where did you come up with that?

Bill's take is a very down to earth look at the individual as a unique contribution to society. My studies had always emphasized that each person (soul) was a unique individual who was placed on this planet for a purpose. I like that Bill stressed empathy and compassion, just as the metaphysical take does. I believe that the majority of us are all in this together to build, as the bible describes, "heaven on earth." Some of our methods differ, but we are all in this together.

Thank you very much, Pamela! It seems strange to post articles and have no response, you know?  Like we just drop them in the ocean and they sink to the bottom. smile

Thank you, Bill, for this wonderful book review. I like the way you describe humans sondering with each other and forming generations after generations. It is something to ponder about and wonder. I enjoyed reading it.
Thank you, Pamela, for posting Bill's work.

Bill, I was going to post this one, but Pamela (living on the East Coast) beat me to it. You've done it again, my friend. Made me stop and think, and reflect, and cry a little too. This really IS a story worth reading.

    Bill
It touches my heart to hear you mention the word Sonder once again.
This word has made many of us open our eyes and see the world around us.
As you point out there are
seven-point-six billion unique individuals ...all of us attempting to survive, feeling the same thoughts.

You have grasped the meaning of this word perfectly.

I absolutely love how you describe this feeling as you pay attention to others during your day.

Each person concentrating so hard on their world...the realization that each person is living their own life with the same personal worries and pain.

I'd love to include this one on the word prompt series for Sonder Week 35.

    May I post a link?

Thank you so much, Pamela, for sharing the link to Mr. Bill's article smile

Mr. Bill, what a great story... It's definitely worth reading. I really enjoyed it. The word Sonder is only six words long, yet its meaning is very worth knowing and understanding. Thank you very much for sharing this lovely hub with us.

Blessings to both of you smile
