Please take some time to read Brenda's beautiful poem.

    Here's the link: https://hubpages.com/literature/Kitty-Fiasco

    Thank you!!

    Hi Bredz,

I enjoyed reading your poem. Cats, in my opinion, are the Boss. They do whatever they want to do. They are quick learners. I'm glad you were able to keep him under control, though. I think cats are the most entertaining and lovable pets. Unfortunately, due to my asthma, I am unable to keep one in our home.

Take care and stay warm in that cold.

    Many Blessings and Love!!

Hi Brenda, this was a lovely poem about your kittys. They can really be naughty and give you a hard time. Glad everything worked out well in the end.

Thanks Misbah for sharing Brenda's work.

        Rosina...
        I can't say that I blame my Bubba...aka Buddy.
I wouldn't want strangers roaming around my house either.

But there were three different electric boxes here & it needed to be updated into one.

        Rosina...
I have Ring camera's set up in the house right now & whenever I'm not here I take a peek.

My little Buddy is quite adventurous.   He gets on coffee table and desk...places he is not supposed to be.

He's not the best influence on my little one that hides...except I do get to watch them both play together when no one is home.

      Thanks Misbah!
I have asthma too...and I'm allergic to cats, or so they tell me.
But cats have always been a big part of my life.
It's been a very long day though...still got one more day on Thursday to do this again.
I'll be glad when it's finished.

      Hello Brenda!
Your spontaneous poem is an enjoyable read. Pets can put you on your toes. They bring joy, and become so much part of the life of those, who own them.
Thank you for sharing this entertaining one.
Thank you Misbah, for highlighting this in the forum.

        You got that right.

These kittys are the joy of my life right now.

One thing for sure...they don't judge you & they always love you unconditionally.

I'm so glad I have them..constant entertainment too.

      Misbah...
I totally believe that cats are smarter than dogs.
Bubba can actually push open that room divider just like I do...he's a smart kitty.

Cats are, without a doubt, incredibly smart. They are very playful as well. I love cats.

        Take care, Bredz

I'm definitely gonna have to give them extra attention once this is all done.
My poor babies.   One is hiding today & the other is locked behind a door...hopefully he won't escape.

That sounds like quite the commotion for a time!  Cats can be very inventive if they want to pursue something.  Glad it all worked out, Brenda.  Sounds like you got some exercise during that frantic chase.  Ha!

      Peggy...
I'm sure it was comical, but more cat was scared to death.
Right now he gets spooked pretty easily.  He really hates it when he sees ne packing boxes..maybe he thinks we're moving, but we're home.
This is where I'll be until my feet leave this earth...cause I'm never packing & moving again.

      Take care

This may have been a little frantic at the time, Brenda, but it was a fun read. I know what cats can be like, I have six…not including any visitors.
Thank you for sharing this, Misbah.

      John
I'm sure you know how cats have their own moods.  My other one calmly spent the day hiding beneath the dresser.
I finally managed to take Buddy upstairs to the only room that has a door, but i had to get everyone out of the house to accomplish this...and even then he tried jumping out of my arms.
I hated to put him up there, but I couldn't keep chasing him so he spent the last 3 hrs up there.
But then...i had to climb those stairs to go let him out.
I'm glad you enjoyed that quick write.  I had planned on spending the day working on my writing...but it didn't work out.

All I did was watch kitty's and freeze while electric was off...but it's all good.  One more day on Thursday...it should be finished.

      Take care.

      Have a great day.

Do your cats seem to have moods like people do?

I enjoyed reading your poem Brenda. I have had cats most of my life, so I relate to your wild events, then settling the cat down by dangling a string is so funny. I can see that happening.

Thanks for posting Brenda's poem Misbah.

      Thanks.
The string worked for a moment or two, but I'm not sure how to tantalize him in the morning.
The plan is to have at least him upstairs behind closed doors before anyone gets there.
It would be great if I got them both up there...then i could do some writing work, but I don't see it happening.
The little girl loves to hide.

Glad you enjoyed my kitty's and this poem.

Hope to get caught up on reading your work before long.

Thanks Brenda for bringing a smile on my face. The poem is funny as well as a bit tragic from the cat point of view.I hope it all worked well in the end for the kitty and also the work got done.

      Thanks Ravi...
I guess I need to look at the cat's point of view & stop being worried.
I'm glad this one made you smile.  A smile can make one's day a bit better.
As for the work, the electrician is finished, but a plumber is next.
      Have a great day.

The event that you've described sounds like an interesting time for both you and your cats! I love the thought of the cat being hypnotized by the dangling string.

Haha...it was a stressful time for me, but it was quite amusing.

That string...well it has magical qualities.

      He'll follow it anywhere.
