Great work on this, Joanne. I agree with all you write and I hope things can turn around in time. It is a pity man never seems to learn lessons from the past.

This is an excellent poem Joanne. I also agree with the points you make, and it does seem we never learn from history. There is so much senseless violence now, and I wonder why. So many don't want to hear anything about God or really anything that is positive. I appreciate your message.

Thanks for posting this poem John.

    Hello Joanne!
An important message conveyed by you, through your poem!
    "Will we ever learn",
"Yet, we repeat history's worst cycles"-- are powerful lines!
I hope and pray that good sense prevails upon those who disregard the Nature's rules of peaceful coexistence!
    Thank you for sharing!

    Great writing!
I wish I could say that the next generation would pay attention, but all signs point to No.

They are so wrapped up in thinking about only themselves that carrying about mankind is beyond their reach.

Thanks John for sharing Joanne's poem about living together in peace and respecting our planet at the same time.  Wouldn't you think that we could learn this lesson?  Are we so self-absorbed that we cannot learn lessons from the past, and even the present?  Let's pray that happens, and the sooner the better!
