Nithya writes an excellent article for the word prompt "adapt" ~ week 52.

Take a moment to read about the Lotus and it's strength.

    Nithya...
I'm so sorry.  I just finished posting the new word prompt last night.

I am happy that these prompts help inspire you to write.
    Your work is quite good.

I enjoyed learning about this flower...The Lotus.

The way you describe it being rooted below the murky waters & then struggling to get to the surface is amazing.

It blooms on top of the water with each sunrise & closes at sunset.

It sounds beautiful!  Like it's meant to be there to show us we can greet each day with new possibilities.

Your poem, "Live Just Like the Lotus" shows us that we should be strong and determined like the Lotus.
Shake things off that try to pull us down in life.
    Be brave & keep living.

Your poem, "Tell Me Your Secret" is a beautiful piece revealing how one desires to live life like the lotus.

He wants to know the secret of staying afloat despite the torrent rainfall in each one's life.

You include "Quotes About the Lotus"
    My favorite one:

“Just like the lotus we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of darkness and radiate into the world." - Unknown

Great job.  I think I'd like to see a Lotus.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

I really like your poems Nithya. The lotus is a beautiful flower, and it worked well with the prompt, "adapt". I like all the quotes about the lotus flower at the close of the article.

Thank you for posting this article Brenda.

Hi Nithya, what a wonderful response to Brenda’s word prompt “adapt.” I can’t think of a better symbol for this than the lotus. Loved the poems. Great work.

This is a beautiful poem in response to Brenda’s word prompt. The lotus flower is truly a symbol of being adaptable to change. I enjoyed your poem very much, Nithya, and also your quotes at the end.
