Chitrangada, I think online shopping is a popular and modern concept nowadays. As your article shows there are both advantages and disadvatages of it. I fully agree with them.
Mostly I order food and groceries online and pay in cash to the delivery boy. So it's all safe.
Thank you for your wonderful and insightful article.
Hello Rosina!
So pleased to know that you liked my response to shopping.
Yes, online shopping is here to stay. The younger generation vouches for this. I have also become a big fan of this new trend.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a wonderful day.
I enjoyed Chitrangada’s article and poetry about ‘online shopping.’ You gave all the excellent reasons for shopping online. Yes, it has increased greatly due to the necessity of staying home during the pandemic. Even I shop online more than I do in person. Good response, Chitrangada. Thank you for sharing, Brenda,

Your writing for this one fits the word prompt perfectly.
Your
"Acrostic poem on ‘Shopping" tells us how you prefer online shopping & it has become more popular since this pandemic.
It's so easy to hop on and offline to place an order.
Your article makes some good points about the convenience of online shopping like no traffic to deal with or parking worries.
There are usually discounts and it is so easy to do once you get the hang of it.
But you are right about the negative side of it.
You can't physically see or touch the merchandise and sometimes the sizes do vary.
I'm not comfortable sharing a debit or credit card online, but I do have a temporary credit card that I only load money on for a specific purchase.
It works out great although it costs me $3.00 to load the money onto it.
I actually prefer online shopping for alot of things, but when the pandemic hit I wasn't ready.
I don't use a debit card and I had no money loaded onto my temporary card.
But I must say, there is still something about seeing abd touching the product beforehand.
Alot of times, things Do Not Look like the Picture I saw on the internet.
Great job on this one.
I've already posted this article in the word prompt series for Week 41.
Hello Brenda!
Thank you for the detailed analysis of my article. Appreciate your time and efforts, in spite of your personal problems.
You are right that one has to be careful, while shopping online, especially when using the debit or the credit cards. Usually, I do my online payments by mobile Paytm wallets, which is quite safe, with many privacy settings.
For special occasions, I do prefer going to the actual markets, with family. It’s enjoyable and the positive vibes, especially during the festival seasons is beautiful.
Many thanks for taking the time to read and share your thoughts.
I wish you the best of everything. Thank you so much.
Chitrangada
You are so welcome. It was a joy to read.
During a season when one celebrates it always feels great to be there in person.
Have a great day.
Hi Chitrangada,
You have done an excellent job of pointing out the pros and cons of online shopping. We started doing more of it once the pandemic hit, especially for groceries. Thanks, Brenda, for highlighting her work with us.
Thank you Peggy, for appreciating the article and my response to the word prompt. Online shopping is not something regular for me too, but it has proved to be convenient, during the Pandemic.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks Peggy
Online shopping has become more popular since the pandemic.
I still don't like not being able to try on clothes and actually see the products I buy beforehand though.
But for some things, we don't have much of a choice.
Chitrangada points out to be cautious while shopping online.
