    Hello Umesh ji!
A well thought of response to the word prompt, Purpose.
I found this quite relatable too. In the initial years of our life, others tell us about the purpose of our life. It’s only when we are mature, we are clearly able to understand our purpose in life.
    Nice poem, and insightful article.
    Thank you for sharing.

Umesh, yes this is an excellent response to the prompt "purpose." Too many others are quick to tell us what our purpose should be, but we must figure it out for ourselves.

    Thank you for sharing, Chitrangada.

This is an excellent response Umesh. As you have rightly mentioned, our purpose in life during our younger years is defined by our elders and sometimes by circumstances.

As we grow older, we acquire a collection of experiences that we call life and once we start understanding life. we discover our pupose or our calling, as some call it. Thanks for sharing this introspective piece

Thanks, Chitrangada, for sharing Umesh's work.

    Umesh
Your introduction about purpose certainly tells the truth.
We are often confused about our purpose in life and follow the wrong path Until we find the right direction.

Your poetry, "Discovering Purpose in Life" takes us through the journey of one discovering his purpose.

As a child, we really have no idea.
We trust our elders to guide us.

But as we age, we understand that the direction we want to follow should be something we enjoy.

We may seem ordinary to others, but we are fulfilling our life's purpose and enjoying each step along the way.

Great insight.  I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

Thanks, Umesh. There is nothing quite so empowering as discovering one's purpose and pursuing it. You explained it, and thanks also for adding that TED video. Thanks, Chitrangada for sharing.
