    Hi Chitrangada,
This is an amazing article about Father's quotes. I am very much impressed by reading the memoir of your father also. My Dad is also a village boy aiming for the moon. He left home at a young age and changed schools for better education and finished higher education in London and Paris. He has influenced my siblings and me in a positive way like your Dad. Thanks to all the learned fathers out there. They really make a difference in the world.

    Chitrangada...
What a great and timely message.

Father's day is right around the corner.

I loved your quotes.   I think I like the one best about how a father let's his little girl learn on her own....He believed in me...that's the greatest gift.

I'm certain your father is smiling and very proud of you and your accomplishments.

This is a great way to honor him for the upcoming Father's Day.

He achieved so many accomplishments and I know it is difficult to be without him during this time.

Remember those memories and cherish each moment as you continue your journey.

Thank you for the warm advance greetings Ms Sharan, and kindly send my greetings as well.
I love those remarkable quotes you've shared with us.

I'm glad you include the link to th article dedicated to your father.
This was an interesting memoir! I always love reading memoirs and autobiographies, people's story who triumphed over adversities always amazed me, and to hear their thoughts through out the journey always fascinates me.

    And I stole one of your amazing Hero and Father's  very remarkable wisdom;
'' Do your best, and leave the rest to  God ''

I love how you portrayed your father
''... never lost hope, never gave up, and never complained''

I never lost hope and never gave up but I always complained(haha).
I will  always remember this great encouraging line of yours Ms Sharan.

    Hugs!!!!
    P. S
I apologise for talking this much:)

Chitrangada has shared some wonderful quotes about fathers. In an ideal world, I think a mother and father should be admired equally after a baby is born (assuming there is no significant problem in either person). I wish Father’s Day was valued as much as Mother’s Day. Thank you for sharing the article, Rosina.

      Hello Linda,
I completely agree with you that both father and mother are responsible for the correct upbringing of their children, and both of them should be given credit for the same.
Thank you for reading my work, and sharing your thoughts on this.
      Have a great weekend.

Beautiful quotes about fathers. That fathers play an important role in the upbringing and security of their family cannot be understated.

An interesting thing about Fathers's Day is that it was started by a daughter Smart Dodd who lived in Washington. She lost her mother at 16 years leaving his father to look after her and her five brothers. Smart was so inspired by her father's selfless actions and his love for his children that she petitioned to celebrate a day in honor of all fathers. Hence Father's Day came to be celebrated  in June, the birth month of Smart's father.

Thanks, Chitrangada, for sharing such a beautiful hub. Thanks, Rosina, for sharing Chitrangada's work.
