Thank you for sharing Rosina's article!

Rosina, interesting are those different forms of transportation you experienced. Some may say good fortune was presented or luck. Just playing with the last word prompt.

I haven't experienced probably half the forms you did. I have always wanted to take a ride on the pedal bike transport in the San Diego, California metro area downtown.

They are very popular and relatively not expensive compared to Uber or a cab. Did they have those where you were at in Arlington?

Yes, I am lucky to have ridden so many forms of transport. There was no transport between Arlington and Dallas, where my sister's family stays. I traveled by their van or personal car. Thank you, Tim for taking the time to read my article and leave your precious feedback.

    Hello Rosina,
It was interesting to read about the various modes of transport by you. We all travel throughout our lives by different modes of transport. Never thought of writing it in the form of an article. A good thought by you.
I always love road travels to places of scenic beauty with family.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.
    Best wishes to you.

Thank you, Chitrangada, for sharing the link to my article. The idea of writing about different modes of transport that we travel came actually after I came across a prompt. I am glad you liked it. I like your choice of travel. Thank you for the well-wishes. A great evening to you!

    Hey Rosina...
That's a lot of different kinds of transportation.

We don't have much in my little corner of the world.
Most people drive their own vehicles.

There is a cab service but it cost like $6.00 =663.08 taka to go one way.

We don't have passenger trains and no boats.  Not even in the nearby water...they are only small lakes for joy riding, water skiing, a day in the sun.

I have traveled in airplanes, but I don't know if I can anymore.   I've been told the pressure might bother me, but I won't know unless I try...I'm in no hurry.

I remember you telling me about rickshaws before....we definitely don't have those.

You have such wonderful experiences and ways to travel.   A driver...I'd feel like a queen or that movie...
    Driving Miss Daisy.

Why don't you learn to drive a car?  Is it difficult to get a license or is it so congested no one drives?

In New York they say no one drives...they use subway, trains, buses...etc.

Yes, you still have many facilities, if not all. It is the culture here that family men won't drive, not to talk of girls or women. Every family, if they can afford, will keep a driver if they have a car. But rarely men and women do drive but very rarely.

I don't learn to drive because of too much traffic jams and most gentle ladies don't drive here. The lower class people might cause trouble or taunt you on the roads. It's not safe.

It was nice to go though your description of the availability of transport in your area. I loved knowing. Have a great night.

Thanks & have a great night Rosina.

Customs are different.   Please stay safe.

I wish we had a few other modes of transportation in my small town.

        Talk with you soon.

An interesting article highlighting the different modes of travel you have experienced, Rosina. I was surprised that in that nine, you didn't include aircraft.
I would love to experience a rickshaw one day. I have travelled in most of the others you mention, including a ferry and cruise ship. People regularly hire cars here to drive around if they visit a different city, etc. but very few can afford to hire a car with a driver.

I am delighted to know you enjoyed my write-up, John. The very first transport I mentioned was an airplane in my article. Probably you missed it. Then ferry and so on.

Yes, it is funny how we hire drivers here to ride a car. But that's the culture. If we can't afford it, we don't. There are other means of transport like bus or autorickshaw.

Yes, I hope you can ride a rickshaw sometime and experience the ride. You seem to have a lot of experience with transport and traveling. That's good. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day!

Oh, My mistake. I saw that you mentioned air travel first but for some reason didn't think you had included it in the list of nine. Now I see it was, obviously, I can't see straight lol.

It’s always interesting to travel using different transport. I have taken all of them including a rickshaw. One interesting experience I had was in Shanghai. My husband really wanted to take the Maglev and so we did. It was so exhilarating.

Thanks Chitrangada for sharing Rosina's experiences of the various forms of travel.  I have never experienced riding in a rickshaw.  It is also interesting learning about the custom of not driving in her part of the world.

Perhaps you will have the experience of riding in a rickshaw some day. Yes, the upper middle class and above do not drive in our part of the world. It may seem odd but that's the way it is here. Thank you for reading and commenting, Peggy. Have a great weekend.
