Please read Rosina’s interesting account of how her tutoring helped a student achieve an “A” in Biology.

Rosina, it was an interesting incident in your life and a beautiful memory to treasure.
I hope you can add one more image or two of those kind-of-charts that help students grasp lessons easily.
Thanks, John, for sharing the link.

Thank you so much for your encouraging and insightful comments. I will try to add one more image, and those academic biological charts are too much of a distant memory, and I have probably discarded them when I shifted homes, that also years ago. But it does remain a treasured memory. Your feedback is truly appreciated, Mr. Venkatachari.

Mr. Venkat, I added another image, in this article, of my probable student, who is posing in my home premises. I hope you like it. She is in hijab and burka as I have described her within my text.

    Hi Rosina....
I'm glad you took the time to help this student.
It's something that both of you will remember for the rest of your lives.
God has special ways of communicating with us.  He is truly happy with you & showed you there is absolutely no reason for you to feel bad about receiving a B in biology.
You probably deserved that A....perhaps it was an error of your teacher.  No worries...you learned biology.
Great story.  Keep writing and smiling.

(Sorry I didn't answer your email ~ I was out of town)

Thanks for your support, Brenda. Yes, I realized that B was not that bad and probably deserved an A. But after my student got the A, I felt it was God's way of showing I was capable of an A as well and felt happy for my student.

It's okay. No need to reply my every email. I am so glad you liked this experience of mine. I do appreciate it. Thank you so much. Have a great day!

    Hello Rosina,
This is an interesting read about your teaching skills. One important aspect of teaching is that the teacher should always remain a learner, to become a good teacher. Your article is a good example of that.
I enjoyed teaching and all the interaction with the students in my earlier days. I still enjoy teaching, whenever I get the opportunity.
    Thank you for sharing this.
    Thank you John.

I am glad to know you still enjoy teaching whenever you get the opportunity. As for me, the story is an example of my teaching skills when I had appeared in A-Levels, waiting to enter the university. After finishing undergraduate studies, I had a good teaching career in the university for 15 years. But then I had to quit it altogether due to unfavorable cicumstances. Like you, I also enjoy teaching. It's ingrained in me.

Thank you, Chitrangada, for your remarkable feedback on my article. It did bring back a whole lot of memories. I appreciate your comments truly.
