I just made a hub. I decided to post my first novel which I haven't gotten published or really done anything with. I can't decide if this has been a good idea or not. thoughts? comments? questions? advice?
P.S. did anyone else find it funny that all these affiliates keep encouraging you to post in forums and social networking sites and then after reading that same advice for a half hour or so I come here and the first rule is "oh btw no linking to your hub. linking to your hubs is great except... on the hub forum."
I haven't read your hub yet
BUT-- you can post a hub link on "the extreme makeover hub " forum, if you are looking for review or critique.
yeah I know, there are some inconvenient rules-- but you will like it once you get used to the site.
First welcome to HP
Second there is a forum where you can post links and ask for reviews it is at http://hubpages.com/forum/23
Third Have a good time. and I will go have a look at your hub right now.
Falsor,
Welcome! I am self publishing myself shortly. Did you realize only 5% of books each year are published by new authors? That was before elf publishing.
That 5% includes athletes, politicians, actors, etc.
Hey, linking in forums can be good, but it also leads to spam, feel free to link to your hubs in other forums which we don't care about
I'm new, and lost the majority of the time. Writing, I love. Technology, not so much. Good luck!
No need to start another thread. I've reported the thread to be moved to the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread.
Good Idea Cagsil-- I didn't know we could do that.
We are both apparently fast threaders. does that mean I now has 2 threads in the makeover forum?
Greetings! I am old and drunk. I just wrote two new hubs on Scotch. Best ones ever! Excuse me, I need a pee.
You sir receive my random of the day award. Yesterday the winner was Stop, or I'll poop. I stopped, he did not poop.
I poop first thing in the morning right after coffee. Nice to meet you. Have fun. Cheers. Hic-hic

Hello! My name is Cindy, and I'm new to this site. So far, I love it! I have always enjoyed writing, and I love to read what others contribute. I have published 7 hubs and could always use some advice on how to make them look great. I'm just learning the layouts and...

This has been perplexing me for a while - has something changed or have I just gone ga-ga?Being in a different time zone from most Hubbers, I rely on being able to click the "Your" button to catch up with who's posted on threads since I commented.Recently I've been missing comments...
