Hi,
I just finished my second hub.
I am wondering, how do I find interested hubbers who want to put it on their referral tracker and share it so they can recieve a share of the impressions generated?
I noted that this is a possibility in the hub pages. Is there an area where I may post my hub for possible referral tracking sharing?
Thanks!
I don't think so. However i will find Dale Mazureks forum post for you. The rules are, you have to find another hub, and post both links, yours and the other hubber.
Nothing too commercial, and no keyword stuffing. I will go get the link.
Back to the original question - I've never heard anyone ask this before! I assume you're hoping that Hubbers will add a link in their Hub to yours. First of all, you'd only want links in related Hubs because they're the most valuable. Second, the tracker will only yield a share for a limited amount of time, so you may not have many takers.
The tracker has a limited amount of time in terms of referral sign ups. When it comes to ad impressions then approximately 1 in 10 click thrus should have the ad of the traffic referring being shown. There is no time limit on that.
But still, it's an unusual request. It's not the sort of thing that I'd want to see being made a habit as it'll just become a mess in the forum. If I find a hub that I like I'll refer it if it fills a specific need. Or if a person needs an answer to a question, I'll just as soon as come here to hubpages to see if someone has the answer and send or post the link.
Hello Eco,
I never heard of that. I always thought the URL Trackers are used to view your referrals to see how they are doing and if they actually write/create Hubs.
I just started linking other Hubbers Hubs into my own Hub/free websites/blogs but I make sure the topics/subjects are similar. Placing other Hubbers Hubs links about the same topic/subject should help search engine indexing. That is what I'm told anyway.
Best of luck.

Oh, thank you Faybe! So I need to post one of my hubs, and one of another person's hub?
Also I noticed my new hub is not in the "featured" hubs
:-(
????
I"ll follow that link and check it out
Featured hubs takes a while. you will get there. Check the Hub Hop, your hub is probably in there.
OK, I'm off to search for the hub hop, lol. I love hub pages. this is fun, you're a great source of info, thanks!
oh and I noticed HP put an ad up on my hub about re-manufactured inks. it's a hysterical ad! I loved it lol. Remans dont mind the OEMS - the OEMs mind the remans. why can't we all just get along!???
:-)
Welcome to HubPages.
With that said, please take a trip to the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread and begin a thread of your own, post your links and have some veteran hubbers take a look.
I say this because it will help you to learn IF you are doing something wrong. Since you are new, you're not expected to know everything else everyone knows.
There are a lot of hubs for your to read, such as SEO(search engine optimization), back linking and a few other things.
But, to get criticism on your work is the most valuable tool HubPages has to offer. It provides the greatest avenue for growth.
So, do drop by: http://hubpages.com/forum/23
Just trying to be helpful.
Hey I sent her Hub Hopping. Don't know when she'll be back. She is promoting her own company with her hubs.
what, is that wrong? I read the hub about making money and it says you can put your own product on here?
No it;s not wrong, it is just some are salesmen like you, and some are philosophers Like Cagsil and me.
Since when did I become a philosopher?
EEK!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, I am a saleswoman.
thanks! I did all the spacing recommendations and did some highlighting for googlers who are speed reading!
:-)
Cool. Sorry Cagsil made your eyes bleed. He has that effect on people sometimes. But he is a great guy to have in your corner.
Oh, insult me then make up for it by praising me.
Then you even laugh at it when I point it out.
You know how I feel about you, but look, my avatar says it all, a rose with a dragon wrapped around it. All soft and lovely inside, but slightly dangerous on the outside. Unless you know how to tame a dragon.
Oh that's great! I'd love some criticism of my hub.
I didnt find hub hopping. But I did find a hub on pugs I want to send to my friend. So I think I'm going to try to make a tracker for it, and refer it
thanx for the link!

I have been hub hopping lately and I am disgusted with the incoherent garbage that I am coming across - nothing but poorly translated articles of about 400 words, usually without even any formatting. I would say that more than half of the articles I randomly encounter are clearly nothing but spun...

I have only ever had one featured hub before but when I checked my account today I was shocked to find I have 13 in featured hubs due to low engagement. This is proof that traffic has fallen greatly. It's not just my lowest scoring hubs either..it is right across the board. Is anyone else...

Why when I search the featured hubs sections do I often find poor quality hubs written by hubbers who have not been active on HP for ages? This is not a one off. I also find hubs that lack good grammar and have images without attribution. Isn't there some way to improve these sections? How are...

I was really excited when I saw this new feature because I thought it was a great way to support, get to know and interact with other hubbers...But...for the most part, with some exceptions it is a load of garbage. When I think of all the painstaking time I take putting a hub together...and I...

Something happened to me today that I have not experienced before.I did some "gardening" and revision work on one of my featured Hubs... and I was "done editing" it stopped being "featured" and instead became "pending" with the usual "going through QA...

In light of the Google algo change, it is now obvious and confirmed that hub-hopping is VERY important. I feel that if you publish here, you should hub hop when you can. As it should hopefully increase our revenue and hopefully take this hubpages back to the top, where it belongs. The problem is...
